Jamie Bishop
Managing Director, Edrington UK and Western Europe
After qualifying as a Chartered Accountant in 2011, Jamie joined the spirits industry with Edrington in 2012. Jamie’s early work in various finance and strategy roles was focussed in the ‘emerging markets’ providing support for Edrington’s business in Turkey, Middle East, Eastern Europe and Russia.
In 2019, Jamie reallocated to Johannesburg to assume responsibility for all Edrington operations on the African continent, establishing key partnerships in Nigeria, Kenya and South Africa aswell as accelerating the brand development across multiple South and Western markets.
Jamie returned to Edrington HQ in Scotland in 2022 as Managing Director for the European Partners’ division – covering all 3rd party distribution on the continent as well as leading the establishment of Edringtons wholly owner distribution vehicle in France.
Made a keeper of the Quaich in 2024, Jamie has recently been appointed as Managing Director, Edrington UK and Western Europe with responsibility for owned distribution companies in the UK & France as well as key European distributor markets in particularly Spain, Italy and Portugal.
