The sixth Code of Practice came into force in September 2019. The Code changed and addresses a number of new issues which amongst others includes enshrining the protection of the vulnerable, avoiding widespread offence and changes to single-serve, non-resealable containers.

We offer free face to face training to those in the alcohol industry to ensure that the Code is widely understood and applied; as well as providing details on the wider regulatory landscape. Should you wish the Portman Group’s seminars can be tailored to suit your organisation or individual needs.

We would recommend this training to anyone involved in alcohol marketing who hasn’t had an update on the application of the latest Code or is new to alcohol marketing. In light of the COVID-19 pandemic we are now offering training sessions via Zoom and Microsoft Teams.
